Specialist Machining

Utilising our range of the latest High Speed CNC machining centres including 2 5-Axis machines ATS supply precision machined components to the Formula 1, Aerospace, Gas & Oil & Medical industries amongst others.

As well as high speed machining centres ATS also houses a number of CNC Wire & Die-Sink EDM machines which combined with our automated electrode manufacture process allows us to cover the full spectrum of EDM requirements, Our largest EDM Die-Sink Machine can handle workpieces up-to 1400mm x 900mm x 400mm and has a 40 station electrode changer allowing it to run un-attended for long periods of time.

Turned parts are accomodated in our CNC lathe which has a driven "C" Axis facility allowing us to also machine features normally requiring a second set-up on a machining centre thus reducing machining time & cost.

Investment in the latest cutting tool technologies allows ATS to produce parts in virtually any material from Modelboard up-to exotic grades of Aerospace quality Titanium and Ceramics and fully hardened tool steels up-to 62 Hrc often negating the need for expensive grinding & lapping techniques

Due to the number of machines available extremely quick turnarounds are possible with parts often being delivered on a “Next Day” basis and our range of machine sizes allows us to offer components from less than 2mm up-to 4000mm long.

All components can be fully inspected using our own CMMs and can be accompanied by a full first article inspection report or ISIR according to customer requirements.
